Job Purpose/Overview The Business Relationship Manager acts as the trusted partner between our internal customers and Information Solutions. As Business Relationship Manager, you will ensure each business area's strategic needs and priorities are effectively accounted for and aligned with technology and service roadmaps Other Duties include Translating customers' strategies and annual business-plans into a roadmap of required IT capabilities and their dependencies upon Information Solutions, to determine and agree the prioritised pipeline of demand upon Information Solutions Engaging key stakeholders across IS and core business areas to inform Information Solutions direction of travel Gaining customer commitment to the prioritisation and benefits associated with their demand; to ensure a "value-led" focus in investment decisions Representing the customer throughout Information Solutions service and governance life cycles, to ensure Information Solutions and internal stakeholders are clear and supportive of the customer's need Communicating Information Solutions purpose, strategy, technology, policies and services back into our customers to stimulate, inform and influence customers' decisions and outcomes Ensuring that all Business Relationship Management (BRM) related knowledge is digitised and readily accessible for use throughout the life of the service Essential skills and experience Degree in relevant business or IT technical qualification; or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience, or other qualifications, or training/development Expertise in working complex organisations with competing demand on IT services Highly skilled in developing strong, credible business relationships with senior level stakeholder population Able to translate organisational operating aims/outcomes into high-level business capability roadmaps and/or use-cases and their dependencies upon Information Solutions Comfortable operating with uncertainty and ambiguity, particularly in initial stages of defining and prioritising pipelines of business demand Able to simply, clearly articulate complex issues/concepts to all levels of recipient Highly effective in conflict-management, negotiating and influencing, with business customers and internal stakeholders at all levels Demonstrable experience of creating business cases with sound business reasoning, tangible benefits and robust cost estimates/forecasts and assumptions Good understanding of programme and project governance framework and of this role's key deliverables to that framework Good appreciation of project standards and methodologies Additional vacancy information We are proud to offer a fantastic total reward package to help you thrive both personally and professionally - for more information on what NATS can offer you please visit - Why NATS? - NATS We have adopted agile working to provide greater flexibility and increased choice over working arrangements, with the opportunity for this role to work in our modern office facilities as well as remotely.
