Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be working with one of South Yorkshire’s leading flooring and carpet retailers to recruit a Regional Sales Manager.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for operating the “mobile showroom” vehicle, bringing top-quality products and services. This unique role is essential to the success of the business, and you’ll spend much of your time on the road, visiting businesses to provide a hands-on personal service to customers every day.
You’ll be able to offer a full end-to-end service, advising, measuring, and fitting flooring. With your knowledge of our exceptional product range, you’ll bring customers’ ideas to life.
Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager role:
1. Deliver outstanding, personalised customer service to drive repeat business and referrals.
2. Handle customer queries with a friendly, solution-focused approach.
3. Recommend tailored flooring solutions using expert product knowledge.
4. Accurately measure, quote, and prepare detailed flooring plans using in-house software.
5. Identify and report any flooring issues such as damage or dampness during visits.
6. Convert visit leads into sales by presenting the right products and solutions.
7. Support the store in meeting and exceeding sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage.
Requirements for the Regional Sales Manager role:
1. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
2. Proven experience in consultative sales within the B2B flooring industry, with the ability to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and build long-term relationships based on trust and product knowledge.
3. A flexible and proactive approach to travel, with a willingness to cover national territories as required, including overnight stays, to meet customer needs, attend appointments, and support wider business objectives.
4. You are a driven, customer-focused individual with a passion for sales and providing excellent service.
5. You thrive in a busy environment, enjoy working on the go, and always look for ways to improve the customer experience.
