Oversands School is an independent specialist day school in Grange-over-Sands, providing high-quality education for pupils with diverse complex needs, including social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
“Here we know every pupil, their story, how we can help, and importantly, how they can succeed.” This is reflected in our dedicated lower school, broad upper school curriculum, and vocational/post-16 programs led by experts.
Our clinicians are vital in our integrated SEND model, providing clinical support across our schools and children’s homes. Our young people present with complex needs such as developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and SEN.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support educational and residential staff to create therapeutic environments, providing individual interventions based on clinical assessments and formulations.
Psychologists collaborate across settings to ensure therapeutic support permeates all aspects of our care and education. You will also offer consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to staff.

* Be a qualified HCPC-registered Clinical, Educational, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist
