JOB TITLE: Technical Manager
The Technical Manager will sit across the whole operation and not be assigned to one set division. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a challenging role that offers variety and progression.
Main Responsibilities:
Claim quantum referrals from our claims team where help is needed with scopes and costs being presented by third parties
Desktop referrals from our intervention team including a report
Comments on damages where we are not allowed a site visit
Help with scopes that come over with little detail
Building Solutions team referrals on contractor quotes, schedules and methods of repair
Comments on snagging issues both from our own site operatives work and external sub-contractors work
Technical referrals on queries from third parties after receiving our schedule of works
Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and determine where contractor coverage and capability is required
Working closely with our BST Coordinators, ensure RAMS are in place prior to works commencing
Impart technical knowledge to Coordinators
Expert Witness requests including court compliant reporting when our clients choose to defend our stance – liaising with their panel solicitors
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
• Degree educated – relevant studies
• Relevant proven experience across the sector
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines

HOURS OF WORK: 8:45-5:00pm Monday to Friday with 45 min Lunch
STARTING SALARY: Competitive
HOLIDAY: 25 days plus bank holidays, an extra 16 hours of time off in lieu taken at no more than two-hour slots which equates to the total of 27 days plus bank holidays. An additional day is also given for your Birthday if it falls on a weekday.
