We have a new requirement for an ROV Workshop Electrical Technician within our Bridge of Don, Aberdeen office. Please note: All applicants must reside in the UK and possess full, permanent UK right-to-work status, as Saipem is unable to offer sponsorships.
* Start Date: To be agreed with the successful candidate(s); with a preference for an immediate start.
* Contract Type/Duration: Contractor (potential to become a staff role in the future), Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Carry out Electrical maintenance on Saipem ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A-Frame etc.) in accordance with company procedures and direction of Workshop Manager.
* Perform maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities related to the workshop electrical systems.
* Re-wire electrical panels and junction boxes.
* Test electrical equipment prior to shipping out to systems, including: Sliprings, Motors, Cameras, Lights, etc.
* Assist the Workshop Manager in all maintenance and repair equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and guidelines.
* Conduct refurbishment, maintenance, and repairs on all relevant equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and guidelines.
* Assist with inventory checks carried out on ROV systems, which may include updating the ROV reporting system on the computer.
* Become familiar with and maintain awareness of Saipem’s current requirements/protocols/policies and, where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations.
* Ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Saipem’s policy on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters in accordance with Saipem specific procedures.
* Keep working areas in clean and tidy condition.
The Successful candidate should have the following experience/qualifications:
Required:
* Industry training in Engineering, Electrical disciplines, and Time-served.
* Previous Electrical experience in a similar ROV and workshop environment.
