Join Our Team as an HR Coordinator!
Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a dynamic opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking an HR Coordinator for a 3 to 6-month assignment at our i54 Manufacturing Site to provide essential HR support, ensuring efficiency in operations, compliance with policies, and employee well-being.
What You’ll Be Doing
Time & Attendance (T&A) Management
* Oversee the T&A system (Tensor), ensuring accurate tracking of shifts, hours, and overtime.
* Generate reports to highlight attendance trends and ensure compliance with working time regulations.
* Work with managers to resolve discrepancies and support payroll processing.
Onboarding & Induction
* Deliver a seamless onboarding experience and conduct HR inductions.
* Ensure employees understand policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
* Introduce new joiners to our Blueprint Behaviours in an engaging way.
* Support employees through their first 12 weeks, ensuring they receive the necessary training.
Sickness & Absence Management
* Maintain accurate absence records and update HR systems (Tensor & Workday).
* Monitor trends and support the HR Business Partner in managing attendance.
* Conduct return-to-work interviews with supervisors and escalate concerns when necessary.
* Coordinate occupational health referrals when needed.
Employee Communication & Engagement
* Maintain communication boards and assist in organising monthly Town Hall meetings.
* Support managers in conducting listening sessions.
* Promote employee engagement through the Your Voice Matters survey.
General HR Support
* Provide first-line HR support to employees and managers.
* Attend daily 8:30 am GEMBA walks to provide HR updates.
* Maintain compliant and up-to-date HR records.
* Assist with HR reporting, compliance audits, and engagement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* HR administrative experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of T&A systems, onboarding, and absence management.
* Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Understanding of UK employment law and GDPR compliance.
Desirable:
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it).
* 3+ years of HR experience.
