We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic DT Teacher to join our dynamic team in Rochdale, starting as soon as possible. Our Design and Technology department is at the forefront of this mission, equipped with modern facilities and resources to bring ideas to life. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons across a range of DT disciplines, such as product design, engineering, resistant materials, and graphics. Inspire students to develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise. Plan and deliver lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Contribute to the department’s development and participate in extracurricular activities. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology, with expertise in at least one specialism. A passion for teaching and inspiring creativity in young people. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
