Outline of the Role
Responsible for the day-to-day order management of the supply chain for our customers across the world into predominantly Energy markets.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to
* Receive, review and acknowledge our customer orders and intercompany shipments efficiently and accurately
* Co-ordinating the supply of our materials both packed and bulk around the world from numerous manufacturing locations
* Liaising with our customers, through email and telephone and responding within 24 hours
* Discuss availability concerns, employing methods of resolution such as negotiating lead time, alternative shipping points, alternative packaging etc should the need arise
* Proactively track and facilitate resolution of customer related concerns ensuring sensitive and timely feedback
* Working with our internal and external partners to fulfil customer requirements in a timely manner
* Work closely with the commercial, technical and manufacturing teams
* Booking transportation with pre-selected carriers
* Execution of export/import procedures and documentation
* Billing, material price entry, creation of credit and debit notes as necessary
* Consignment stock management and billing
* Timely upload of all required information and documentation to our customers portals
* Maintenance of customer master data
Experience required
* Should have experience in the Energy sector
* Demonstratable knowledge of SAP (Sales & Distribution module essential)
* Proficient IT skills particularly in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
* Minimum of 5 x GCSE’s (grade 4 and above) including English & Math (or equivalent). Or demonstrable equivalent experience
* Understanding of the export documentation process would be desirable
* An understanding of logistics/transport would be desirable
