Job Overview
Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is excited to share a full-time permanent vacancy for our Recovery team based in Gloucester. This service provides secondary care General Adult Psychiatric input to Gloucester environs alongside the parallel "Glevum" recovery team. The role works with a selection of independent functional teams including Crisis Teams, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Perinatal Service, and the Eating Disorders teams.
The post holder will work alongside a part-time (0.6 WTE) consultant colleague as well as supported by a specialty doctor and wider recovery multidisciplinary team.
Key Clinical Duties Include:
* Provide medical leadership to the MDT and oversight to the work of the Specialty Doctor.
* Participate in triage, assessment, care planning, and the delivery of care to patients eligible to be seen by the Recovery Team.
* Offer advice to GPs within the patch and liaise with other trust teams as appropriate for patient care.
* Engage with Safeguarding and Child Protection processes.
* Engage with Audit, Quality Improvement Processes.

Qualifications
Essential criteria:
* Completed CCT or within 6 months of interview.
* Approved Clinical/S12 approval or eligibility for approval.
Desirable criteria:
* MRCPsych.
Experience
Essential criteria:
* Higher specialist training or extensive UK experience in acute psychiatry.
Desirable criteria:
* Experience of "recovery" working at appropriate level.
