The Woodland Trust is looking for an Estate Manager in our Wales team, to lead the Estate Team in managing a diverse and extensive woodland estate delivering for nature recovery and trees for all. The Role: The Estate Manager will be responsible and ensure that the Estate is managed to the highest professional standards and in accordance with the Woodland Trust’s management approach, making a significant contribution to the Trust’s wider strategy and objectives.This role will manage a team of professional site and contract managers and be a member of the Wales Management Team, guiding and supporting the development and delivery of the Trust's work programme in Wales.The Estate Manager will ensure that resources are allocated for maximum impact for our cause and will oversee a complex delivery programme of forestry, conservation, access and safety work. Lead the management of the Trust's woodland estate across Wales and ensure that it is managed to the highest professional standards and in accordance with Woodland Trust's management approach, policies and standards. You will be a strong influencer you will be confident in representing the Trust in dealings with woodland owners, farmers, landowners and stakeholders.This role requires regular travel around Wales and UK.
