Legal Support Manager - Nottingham (Hybrid) | £40,000 - £45,000 My client, a progressive and highly regarded law firm based in Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Legal Support Manager to join their Real Estate Team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within a well-established firm, overseeing a team of up to 20 secretarial and administrative staff. The Role: As Legal Support Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality support services within the department. Acting as the key point of contact, you will manage the team’s performance, wellbeing, and professional development, ensuring operational efficiency and first-class client service. Key Responsibilities: Oversee a team of 20 legal secretaries and administrators, ensuring high performance and service excellence. Conduct regular progress meetings, annual appraisals, and probation reviews in line with competency frameworks. Manage headcount, recruitment, and selection to align with business needs. Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new starters, transfers, and returning employees. Provide pastoral care and wellbeing support, fostering a positive team culture. Work closely with senior management, developing strong relationships with stakeholders to meet KPIs. Lead departmental projects, drive positive change, and implement process improvements. Ensure full compliance with firm-wide policies and champion department initiatives. Arrange and chair legal support team meetings, reporting on performance and operational effectiveness.
