Job Title: Area Sales Manager Contract Furniture
Industry Sector: Contract Furniture, Furniture, Office Fit-Out, Interior Fit-Out, Fit-Out Companies, Interior Designers, Design & Build Services, Office Refurbishment
Area to be covered: London, South East & East Anglia
Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 + £10,000 - £15,000 bonus
Benefits: Car allowance & full benefits package
Role Overview: The role of the Business Development Manager Contract Furniture will involve:
1. Field sales position selling interior design, installations, and office fit-out.
2. All of your time will be spent selling to end-users, businesses, fit-out companies, and facilities management companies.
3. Turnover target: £550k-£750k.
4. 70% new business and 30% account management.
5. Extensive internal lead generation support.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager Contract Furniture with:
1. Contract furniture field sales experience.
2. Ability to work autonomously.
3. A black book of contacts (ideally).
4. In-depth knowledge of interior spaces and products (ideally).
5. Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and a problem-solving attitude.
