We are looking for a new colleague for our UK R&D site at MIRA for the following position:
MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPER
who will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of mobile applications used by customers, third parties and internal teams
The successful candidate will be expected to write efficient, extendible code and documentation as well as designing and developing user interfaces in-keeping with our aesthetic style. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge and experience in developing for iOS/Android using Google’s Flutter framework and Dart programming language.
Just a few of the tasks you will meet during your daily work:
* Writing efficient, secure, extendible code and documentation
* Designing and developing user interfaces in-keeping with our aesthetic style.
* Threat monitoring and maintaining cybersecurity awareness, so that coding practice and development stack evolves to keep ahead of security threats
* Peer reviewing code, testing and documentation within the team.
* Drive innovation and mobile app proliferation into new products and features.
We think that to be successful in this position you need:
* Dart / Flutter
* BLoC pattern design
* Asynchronous design
* Source Control (Git)
* Flutter package management (pub)
* Firebase
* Writing automated tests and working with automated-testing frameworks
* The release management process on both iOS and Android app stores
* Working and interacting with Bluetooth devices
* Development experience in the web stack:
* JS / Front-end frameworks
* PHP / Laravel
* HTML / CSS
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Keen desire to learn
* Good time-management skills
* A ‘can-do’ attitude
* Ability to communicate ideas clearly
