Our client, a leading company in the rail sector, is seeking a E&P Project Manager for a long-term contract role, to be based in the Midlands or North West. This position is focused on the successful delivery of Electrical and Power (E&P) projects within the rail infrastructure sector and is inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead E&P projects, ensuring successful delivery of LV (Low Voltage), HV (High Voltage), and M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems.
Demonstrate strong project management skills on E&P projects, particularly within the rail industry.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide technical expertise and support to the project team.
Prepare project reports and communicate updates to senior management.
Manage feeder routes and power distribution projects effectively.
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in E&P projects within the rail industry.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Electrical Distribution Systems.
Expertise in managing LV and HV projects.
Experience in M&E and power systems.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
