This role sits within our Digital Energy business unit, where we have an established installed base across a range of projects & end-user client portfolios. The role will be responsible for driving growth within the buildings segment by identifying and developing strategic business opportunities. This role combines market analysis, relationship building and sales expertise to enhance revenue, market share and customer satisfaction.
This role reports directly to the Digital Power and Segments Sales, Digital Energy Marketing Director.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan for the buildings segment, through identifying market trends and opportunities.
* Conduct thorough research to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs and market opportunities, whilst providing insight to guide marketing strategies.
* Build and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the segment.
* Identify, evaluate and secure strategic partnerships to enhance segment growth.
* Work with a diverse team of V2 Account Managers to develop a 'One Schneider' customer facing strategy within identified targeted accounts.
* Work with the Customer Satisfaction team to develop and monitor strategies to delight customers, ensuring best opportunities for repeat business in targeted accounts.
* Support marketing initiatives that promote segment growth.
* Work with our Sales Excellence team to maintain best practice for data management in newly targeted accounts.
* Lead a number of major or strategic pursuits in the segment, inclusive of associated interface with Major Pursuits where applicable.
What will help you to be successful?
* Ideally a very solid experience across different sales roles.
* Stakeholder management - proven ability to operate and influence up to and including C-suite level, with a track record of delivering exceptional growth.
* Time management - ability to prioritise time and resources to deliver IMPACT and significant returns to the business.
* Ability to manage multiple initiatives and multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment, equally comfortable working strategically and hands-on into action to achieve IMPACT.
* Strong financial and business acumen.
* Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues, market trends, changes required within the business and opportunities for improvement.
* Strong presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Performance Metrics
* Revenue growth within targeted accounts.
* Achievement of sales and account development targets.
* Successful execution of strategic account plans.
* Client retention and satisfaction rates.
