Are you ready to make a difference and grow with a dynamic, flexible team in 2025? Join us as we embrace new opportunities, expand our impact, and build a brighter future in our Orkney services together! With flexibility, respect, optimism, and growth leading the way, we’d love for you to be part of this exciting new chapter!
Our Orkney team is dedicated to empowering autistic people to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives since 2013. Currently supporting 8 autistic people in Kirkwall, we support people to engage in the activities they love and to be a valued part of the community.
As an Autism Practitioner, you will work across Housing Support & Outreach services to:
1. Develop personalised support plans and build positive relationships.
2. Support individuals in making choices, exploring interests, and to live independently.
3. Partner with families and healthcare professionals to focus on each individual’s goals.
Some activities the people we support enjoy:
1. Visiting the lifestyle centre,
2. Going out for meals and to local coffee shops,
3. Long, scenic walks,
4. Attending seasonal events.
What We Offer:
1. Join a progressive organisation and develop within a supportive team environment.
2. Connect with inspiring individuals, each with unique interests, skills, and talents.
3. Thrive in a rewarding role backed by a comprehensive benefits package, covering health and wellbeing, continuous learning, and financial perks—something for everyone.
If you’ve worked with us before and are thinking of coming back to the team, why not get in touch? It’s always great to see familiar faces!
Apply by 26th January to join a team where you can Be Here, Be You, and Create Change.
Interviews: WC 27th January 2025
We value diversity and welcome applications from all backgrounds, including those with lived experience of autism.
