Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk for a well-established and growing Wholesale business based in Southport. The company has gone through a sustained period of growth in recent times and as a result an exciting new opportunity has come up within the Accounts Payable team.
This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity would be perfect for someone who is looking for a role within a busy finance department. This Role would be reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, with training, mentoring and support on offer, with the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of finance and progress through the business.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk include:
* Matching purchase orders to purchase invoices
* Ensure supplier statement reconciliations are performed monthly
* Liaising with suppliers to resolve any queries
* Setting up supplier payments to aligned credit terms
* Forecasting supplier statements
* Build strong relationships both internally and externally
* Supporting the wider finance team with any ad-hoc processes as required
