Pay: £41,250 - £47,500 Inc shift allowance
Our client are a key provider of precision components and engineering solutions to the aerospace and defence, oil and gas, nuclear and commercial bronze sectors. Our client has over 48 years’ experience working to the highest industry standards, controls and compliance.
They’re looking for a highly skilled competent engineer with the ability to
sett, operate and program 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery to join our
experienced team.
The CNC Multi Axis Miller Programmer will work as part of a team to
produce quality precision engineered components to detailed
specifications within strict production timeframes and tight tolerances.
The CNC Miller Programmer would ideally have
experience / knowledge in:
⦁ Setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines to include 3, 4 and 5 Axis
⦁ Engineering qualification from City and Guilds / HNC or similar
⦁ Speeds and feeds for different raw materials
⦁ FANUC / Mazatrol control language would be preferable
⦁ Lean Manufacturing
⦁ CMM inspection and measuring would be an advantage
The CNC Miller Programmer will have the ability to:
⦁ Programme – ideally using Hypermill
⦁ Operate CNC milling machinery, fixtures and fittings, preferably in a
⦁ highly compliant environment working to tight tolerances
⦁ Use manual measuring equipment and competently read
⦁ manufacturing drawings
⦁ Operate Mazak 5 Axis milling machinery would be an advantage
⦁ This role would suit someone who enjoys working with complex precision
⦁ components out of difficult to manufacture materials.
