Main duties of the job
The posts are in all Disciplines: Scrub, Anaesthetics, and Recovery, but rotation will be supported. Predominantly for days, although rotation onto nights for 2 weeks per year is expected. Following department induction, you will be a key member of our committed and talented team. You'll need the ability to work flexibly to support service level requirements and to adapt to changes in the NHS. It's also vital that you're a team player with a professional focus on service delivery and a demonstrable commitment to high quality. Ideally, ODP qualified or an experienced nurse with a relevant track record. For the newly qualified, we offer a wide experience of gynae and obstetric theatre challenges and a comprehensive induction programme that incorporates a wide range of educational materials.
In return for your dedication, you'll benefit from in-house training to develop your core competencies, together with opportunities to undertake further courses in support of your ongoing development. There will also be opportunities to undertake additional courses after 12 months in the role through your personal development plan.
