Reporting to the Technical Shift Leader the Technical Advanced Operator is a highly motivated pro-active skilled individual with food safety & Quality at the heart of everything they do. They are able to optimise their daily routine of checking and assuring quality and safety standards across the site to ensure the product in deliver on time in full, with a ‘right first time’ mentality. Pay: £12.85 per hour (Pay Review Pending) Ensuring all customer and legal requirements are met and product conforms to specification. Checking incoming raw materials and ingredients ensuring they meet our internal specification. Ensuring that weight and temperature measuring equipment is properly calibrated and issues reporting to Technical FLM without unreasonable delays. Checking product labels conform to requirements. Performing regular routine audits on site in line with procedures. Reporting any non-conformance issues to Line Manager. Collecting samples for laboratory testing. Supporting the production team to get things done and recorded correctly, and making sure that everyone complies with company food safety procedures. Ensure internal Non-conformances are investigated thoroughly and efficiently. Drive right first time attitude amongst fellow work colleagues, including production. Advise Line Manager of any issues preventing the production plan being achieved. Level 2 Food Hygiene (or equivalent) Quality Auditing experience. Experience of working in Chilled and frozen environments working with meals production, coated fish products and white fish processing products. Knowledge of fish products, Production & Packing products around coated processing. Efficient in delivering objectives and key measures. Ability to take part in Production & Packing segments of audits. Ability to manage priorities and projects across your area / line.
