About The Role
We are now seeking a Project Manager to work within our Estates’ team to provide effective planning, project management and professional services to help FX Plus deliver projects which provide quality higher education facilities.
The post will help manage and coordinate projects from inception to completion, with responsibility for the day-to-day running on projects, managing both internal and external stakeholders as the projects dictate. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing contractors, their performance and mitigating their wider impacts within the campus.
Projects consist of long-term maintenance, latent defects and Estates minor works. You will have the support of a highly skilled estates team and have the autonomy to develop your area to ensure the right outcomes are achieved.
About You
Reporting into the Head of Asset Management, the successful candidate will be a highly driven individual with attention to detail, providing project management services for the delivery of long-term maintenance projects, latent defects and Estates minor works projects. It's a dynamic role which will require the successful candidate to show a real depth of management ability, both in handling complex projects and in the management of internal and external teams.
The ideal candidate would have the following experience:
* Scoping, delivering and managing estate projects from initiation to completion
* Utilising recognised project management tools and systems
* Working with multiple stakeholders & delivering exceptional customer service
* Good understanding of CDM requirements, demonstrating health and safety practices whilst delivering projects
* Exceptional record keeping and creation of project information for operation and maintenance files
