JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with a growing business in Halifax as they look to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small but busy finance team. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager who supports their staff. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity - and the role will become permanent for the right person. Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm (negotiable). My client needs this person to start immediately ideally or within 1 week. If you're experienced in purchase ledger, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are confident with high volumes, this could be the perfect role for you. Key Responsibilities: Managing the full purchase ledger process First point of contact for purchase ledger queries Meet key performance indicator targets for purchase ledger reconciliations, Consider ways to make the purchase ledger function more efficient Strong Excel skills - confident using VLOOKUPs Performing statement reconciliations using Excel (VLOOKUPs essential) Handling CIS and VAT requirements Processing a high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately Preparing supplier payments Using Sage Line 50 to manage financial records Familiar with statement recs and payment processing Experience with Sage Line 50 If you have the relevant experience and are ready to take on a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
