The Role: HR Advisor
Location: Hellaby, Bramley, Rotherham (S66 8HN) – predominantly site based with ad hoc WFH
Employment: 12 Month FTC (Maternity Leave Cover)
Start Date: May 2025
What you'll do
As a key member of our HR team, reporting to the HR Manager, you'll take on a dynamic role that encompasses exposure to a broad generalist remit. Some of your key responsibilities will be.
* Provide first line full HR support, advice and guidance on HR matters including general enquiries and employee relations, employment legislation, policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievances, absence and performance management.
* Working with the Talent Acquisition COE, co-ordinate advise and support Managers on recruitment and selection
* Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation’s objectives.
* Supporting managers with investigations and employee relations issues, including grievance and disciplinary.
* Supporting managers to ensure effective monitoring of sickness trends and remedial action in accordance with the Company’s policy
What are we looking for?
* Demonstrable experience in a HR Generalist capacity with Employee Relations experience
* Experience working with a Blue Collar workforce is preferred
* In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
* Experience working with HR Systems
* Comfortable in a predominantly site based role however we do have flexibility to WFH (circa 1 day per week)
