Customer Service & Events Assistant - Newcastle
Hourly Rate: £13
Working Hours: Between 7am – 10pm, Monday - Sunday, 2 shifts per week

We are seeking a Customer Service & Events Assistant to deliver a high-quality, home-from-home experience and support on and off-site events.
Customer Service Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome students and guests warmly at front of house.
* Address questions and inquiries promptly.
* Ensure facilities are respected and well-maintained.
* Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of communal areas.
* Handle issues or challenges proactively.
* Conduct regular building surveys and report findings.
* Replenish refreshments and manage parcel storage for residents.
* Act as the primary contact for incidents or emergencies.
* Manage waste areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
Event Management
Assist in organizing and promoting on-site and off-site events, including activities like cocktail making, yoga, games nights, and exclusive experiences with brand partners. Responsibilities include:
* Promote events and manage guest lists.
* Prepare and deliver engaging events.
* Clean and reset equipment post-event.
Candidate Profile
* Experienced in delivering premium customer service.
* Event management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Hands-on approach to cleanliness and safety.
* Technologically savvy with various systems and software.
* Culturally aware and able to communicate effectively in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
* Organized, calm under pressure, adaptable, positive, and resilient.
* Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous resident service.
