If so, we want you to be part of our adventure Job Overview As General Manager, you will report directly to the Franchisee and lead a team of approximately 20-40 team members. Your mission is to inspire, motivate, and create an unforgettable guest experience while ensuring that safety remains our top priority. Key Measures of Success: Maintaining and continually improving guest experience and feedback performance. Upholding strict health and safety standards, including team training and operational performance monitoring. Achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, visitor numbers, operational costs, and budget management. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead by Example: Be hands-on and proactive, showing your team how it’s done by actively participating in daily operations. Operational Excellence: Follow and enforce opening and closing procedures, along with daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. Team Leadership: Partner with the Assistant General Manager to recruit, coach, and mentor your team, fostering a positive and energetic workplace. Guest Engagement: Be present on the front lines to ensure every guest has an amazing experience, especially when they need you most. Commercial Awareness: Monitor revenue opportunities and develop business plans to maximise profitability. Health & Safety Champion: Maintain rigorous health and safety practices, conducting regular drills and training. Maintenance and Presentation: Ensure the park is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing both inside and out. Facility Management: Oversee premises and facilities management, including catering and guest party services, as well as regular inspections and maintenance. Communication: Be a clear and supportive communicator, addressing team and guest feedback promptly and professionally. Performance Management: Implement and monitor performance management systems, including probation periods and attendance tracking. Community Engagement: Act as a Company Ambassador, building relationships within the local community. Exceeding Expectations: Go above and beyond to top the charts for NPS, Mystery Shops, and Reviews. Qualifications/Skills: Proven management experience within the leisure industry. Basic IT skills and familiarity with operational software. Strong Health & Safety and risk assessment knowledge. Basic HR knowledge, including performance management and staff welfare. Financial acumen with the ability to understand and manage budgets.
