Contracts Manager

Our clients are a leading provider of temporary services to the Construction Industry. They are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in the Northeast.
As a Contracts Manager, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Organising and management of temporary site services, electrical and mechanical projects within a construction environment.
* Ensuring works are completed in line with the health and safety policy.
* Procurement of labour, materials and plant to complete site-based activities.
* Value engineering of existing projects to maximise margins.
* Preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
* Manage all day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
* Regular internal reviews of projects with the Commercial team.
* Regular site visits / inspections.
* Building on existing relationships with client base to help secure additional works.
* Prepare and submit costs for additional works with the specification of the client and the technical expertise of the company.
* Able to mentor and develop the existing team of staff and operatives.
Essential Skills:
* Previous electrical experience
* Good understanding of the electrical test and inspection procedures.
* Ability to deliver a project on time and within budget.
* Take ownership of your projects and deal with any operational problems professional and efficiently.
* Good numerical skills
* Experience of large projects
* Good interpersonal skills
* Live within commuting distance to Eaglescliffe.
