Alma Veterinary Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our front-of-house team as a Senior Receptionist. The receptionist's role is one of the most important customer-facing roles in the Hospital. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, meeting and greeting them either over the phone or face-to-face when they arrive at the Hospital. This is a very varied role where you will be covering many tasks such as:
1. Booking appointments for consultations and procedures
2. Ordering stock
3. Taking payments and credit control
4. Daily banking
5. Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the client/reception area
6. Maintaining patient and client records
7. Preparing medications prescribed by the veterinary surgeons
8. Stock rotation
9. Maintaining key communications with clients and the team
10. Some administration tasks and health and safety duties
This is a very fast-paced and varied role that is ideal for a highly driven candidate who thrives on providing a high level of customer service. As senior receptionist, you will support our Head Receptionist/ Assistant Practice Manager in ensuring the team follows our protocols and procedures at all times.
Your shift pattern:
This is a full-time role where the successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week covering early and late shifts over a rota system. The early shifts are 8 am - 4:30 pm, and the late shifts are 10:30 am - 7 pm. The successful person will also be required to work 1:4 Saturday mornings.
The salary for this role is up to £28,000 DOE.
