Job summary Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust are one of eight centres in England providing Primary HPV Cervical Screening covering the whole of the North East and Yorkshire area. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Cervical Screening Officers/ MDT Coordinators to support the Primary HPV Screening service. The post holder will assist in maintaining a Cervical Screening service for the NEY Cervical Screening Programme, carrying out both admin and laboratory functions. The role includes acting as first point of contact on the Freephone helpline, performing level 1 patient history check as well as helping in the preparation and distribution lists, reports and slides for MDT meetings. The post-holder will work as part of the integrated administrative and laboratory based team, working to meet the national targets and standards set by the NHS Cervical Screening programme (NHS CSP). Participate in a range of daily activities of the department on a rostered basis as directed by supervisors.
