We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Manager to lead and manage the operations of Big Bear Trailers and Outdoor. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and experience. We are looking for a professional with the desire to provide a high standard of service to all our customers. This will require a high calibre individual/self- starter to lead and build a successful team in Oundle. Job Purpose: The Site Manager will oversee all aspects of the business operations, ensuring efficient day-to-day running, exceptional customer service, and achievement of sales and profitability targets. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, maintain high operational standards, and work collaboratively with the Directors of Cheval Liberte to align the business with company objectives. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the business. Manage inventory levels, including procurement and stock control. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales growth through excellent customer service and targeted marketing strategies. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to attract new clientele. Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff, ensuring high performance and morale. Set clear objectives for team members and provide regular feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Financial Management: Manage the site’s budget, including monitoring expenses and ensuring profitability. Prepare and present financial reports to the Directors of Cheval Liberte. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or service. Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Directors to develop and implement business strategies. Identify opportunities for growth and diversification within the market. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to ensure the business remains competitive. Facility Management: Ensure the premises and equipment are well-maintained and fit for purpose. Address any issues promptly to minimise disruption to operations. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in managing a retail or distribution business, preferably in the trailer or outdoor equipment industry. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service abilities. Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in relevant IT systems, including inventory management and CRM software. Full UK driving license.
