Specific Responsibilities
The Offshore EH and S Advisor for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache's EH and S team reporting to the EH and S Manager.The EHSA shall provide HSE assurance support to their relevant asset, and the onshore EHS team.
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
:Ensure development, maintenance, delivery and compliance of HSE plans at all levels
:Ensure the preparation for, and facilitation of, regulatory site inspections
:Ensure knowledge and promotion of rules, expectations, policies and procedures, safe working practices
:Ensure site compliance with the Apache emergency response procedures
:Ensure compliance and conducting of responsibilities with all Apache EH and S procedures (eg. Apache Manual Handling Operations Procedure)
:Ensures environmental permits, licences, authorizations, notification, consents are available and displayed
:Provides advice and assistance to the asset on all matters relating to HSE including coaching and compliance
:Influence contractor HSE performance through coaching and monitoring
:Assist the Apache Management team with work scope planning including the review of operational work packs from an HSE perspective
:Assist with the facilitation of maintenance and updating of the Safety Case
:Provides HSE awareness and performance material/reports when requested
:Provides support to onboard Safety Representatives as required
:Develops, delivers and records emergency response training programmes and exercise matrix (coxwains training where applicable)
:Ensure safety and emergency equipment is maintained in accordance with the company maintenance management system
:Assist with incident investigation as Lead Investigator or Team Member ensuring co:ordination of the Apache Incident Reporting System
:Promotion of compliance with rules, expectations, policies and procedures, safe working practices
:Assists with influencing contractor EHS performance through coaching and monitoring
:Facilitates the co:ordination and completion of the asset level monitoring and audit programme
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
:Able to prioritize work tasking;
:Strong communication skills with others;
:Able to collaborate across functional peer group;
:NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
:6+ years of experience
