As we continue to modernise our technologies and services, we have an exciting new opportunity to join our Digital Financial Services team as a Solution Architect. As a Solution Architect, you’ll bridge specific business problems and issues with the technologies that address them. You’ll ensure compliance in application design and aligns technology with business needs while adhering to architectural strategy and standards. What will I be doing? Develop and implement architecture solutions that comply with financial industry regulations and standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX). Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions capable of handling large volumes of financial transactions and sensitive data. Ensure technology used in projects aligns with the overall architectural strategy and standards. Provide mentorship and support to development teams, particularly in mobile app development and cloud integration. Maintain current application architecture views and define target and transitional application architecture views. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in financial services to continuously enhance solution quality. What do I need? Extensive experience in architecting and developing digital channels, including online and mobile banking platforms, with a strong background in software development and hands-on experience in relevant programming languages and frameworks. Comprehensive knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX, PSD2), with the ability to design solutions that meet stringent regulatory requirements. Expertise in architecting, deploying, and managing applications on AWS Cloud, including knowledge of core AWS services and DevOps practices. Proven track record of designing and implementing successful digital solutions, with a focus on user experience (UX) design, responsive design principles, and omnichannel strategies. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from inception to delivery, with excellent analytical skills to diagnose complex issues and develop effective solutions. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with project managers and senior management, and a strong understanding of TOGAF and company business and IT strategies.
