* Oversee Tenant Improvement projects and new development projects.
* Manage the construction process while identifying and solving problems that arise.
* Maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and employees.
* Work with local municipalities to ensure proper permitting and inspections.
* Help to establish and maintain project schedules including start, progress and completion schedules.
* Hold the subcontractors accountable for their performance.
* Ability to review and interpret the plans specifications and contracts as they relate to each individual trade involved in the construction of the project.
* Ensure completion of all final punch lists and projects are completed before final payment and/or occupancy.
* Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
* Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
The Successful Applicant
* Strong organizational skills including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking as well as the ability to be an active listener.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to speak in public with a wide variety of people (including contractors, clients, and management).
* Seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented self-starter with excellent attention to detail and emphasis placed on quality.
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, Yardi or other property management software.
What's on Offer
* Full time salary $90,000 - $100,000 per year - depending on experience.
