Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team in Guildford, United Kingdom. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards of service.
* Support the General Manager in overseeing daily business operations and lead the team in their absence
* Bring our brand to life by motivating and guiding the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
* Act as a role model for the team, providing training and development opportunities
* Ensure compliance with brand standards and maintain customer and team safety at all times
* Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve business goals
* Manage staff scheduling, inventory, and other operational tasks
* Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures
* Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and promotional activities
* Assist in financial management, including budgeting and cost control measures
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar assistant manager role, preferably in a customer-facing environment
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
* Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to handle challenges in a fast-paced environment
* Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of the business
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as POS systems and scheduling software
* Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively
* A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a customer-focused mindset
* GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent)
