Role
We are looking for creative, aspirational Designers who have an eye for upcoming trends and a passion for leading the way. You will design ranges and collections for PrettyLittleThing.com across short and long lead time frames, across all product areas. You must have a clear understanding of the PrettyLittleThing.com customer, and be able to support the commercial targets of the brand.
What You'll Be Doing
* Ability to design across all fashion product areas (soft and woven)
* Completing research to pull together themes and trends
* Analysing upcoming aspirational trends
* Taking idea from concept, creating initial specifications through to production of initial samples
* Ensures capability of team to work on short turnaround as well as forward planning ranges for future seasons
* Works directly with overseas supplier to create collections
* Build and maintain close relationships with buying and supplier base
* Developing and inspiring junior team members
* Is flexible regarding off shore travel predominately to the Far East
* Delivers results within specified time frames

* Highly creative and innovative
* Experienced in identifying and proposing potential new product opportunities
* Outstanding commercial awareness and comprehensive understanding of womenswear trends
* Ability to prioritise workflow and ensure challenging deadlines are met, in line with critical path
* Exceptional communication skills, capable of working with other product teams and external suppliers to build productive relationships
* Good understanding of the brand and customer
* Proficient Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD: Photoshop, Adobe and Illustrator
* Minimum 2-3 years’ experience
