Role overview:
Are you a proactive, self-starting Financial Accountant ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, evolving environment? Join Tes Global, a leader in education technology, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth initiatives. Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, you will be instrumental in preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and driving process improvements across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with annual statutory audits and prepare statutory accounts for all UK entities.
* Manage monthly management accounts, including central cost P&Ls and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Contribute to group consolidations and support acquisition accounting processes.
* Oversee payroll postings and staff cost reporting.
* Collaborate on multi-currency cash forecasting and treasury management.
* Support the Tax Manager with corporation tax computations and VAT returns.
* Partner with budget holders for annual budget preparation and ad hoc financial support.
What will you need to succeed?
* ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS standards.
* Audit experience in practice or industry, with a solid understanding of external audit processes.
* Proven ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Experience in group consolidations and knowledge of acquisition accounting.
* Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Adaptable and comfortable in a changing environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
