Description

The Store Operative role is responsible for assisting with the day to day running of the Stores and Logistics, ensuring that data related to the stores are accurate and the stores IT system is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery and collection of product and materials using company transport.
2. Receiving tools, components and materials from suppliers.
3. Kitting and issuing tools, components and materials to the Shop Floor as specified by the Job Card in a timely manner to meet manufacturing schedules.
4. Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock.
5. Ensure all received stock is undamaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
6. Ensuring all tools are returned, recorded and placed correctly in the Tool Stores when production is complete.
7. Ensuring the Materials and Logistics Controller and Purchasing department are informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering.
8. Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet requirements.
9. Maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas and all current Health and Safety legislation is observed, including basic housekeeping.
10. Delivery and collection of product and material as required.
11. Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company.
12. Ensures Environmental Health & Safety policy is always adhered to.
13. Promotes Environmental Health & Safety awareness.
14. Responsible for adhering to EHS procedures & policies to ensure compliance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of the business.
2. Logical reasoning, with a 'can do' attitude.
3. IT skills - Knowledge of SAP, NetSuite, MRP would be advantageous.
4. Organised, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, passion for delivering objectives, comfortable challenging existing processes.
5. Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients.
6. Must be a team player.
