Role: Senior Building Surveyor Location: Manchester Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a Building Design practice. The Role: As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will take charge of delivering multi-disciplinary projects from concept to construction, contributing to their growing portfolio of complex and challenging projects across a range of market sectors. The client works in many sectors including local and central government, education, blue light, industrial, retail and commercial. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Building Surveyor: Delivering a variety of Building Surveying services across multiple projects in diverse sectors. Managing client relationships and ensuring effective service delivery for each project. Conducting building pathology, condition surveys, and due diligence assessments. Designing and specifying projects, including Net Zero initiatives. Overseeing pre- and post-contract duties and contract administration. Managing projects and applying standard building contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC). Requirements for the Senior Building Surveyor: Membership of the Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying Accredited degree. Good team working skills and ability to communicate well at all levels. Able to travel to other regional offices as and when required To collaborate with senior colleagues to drive a profitable service and foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
