Adecco's property services specialists division North is delighted to be partnering with a North West Housing Provider in recruiting for a temporary Stock Condition Surveyor for the Assets and Planned Investment department.
Location: Manchester area
Purpose
To undertake surveys of residential properties and associated assets across the company, considering stock condition, Health & Safety Rating System, to help inform future investment in the 5-year investment programme.
Duties
1. Undertake detailed stock condition surveys, technical due diligence surveys and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
2. Ensure that all relevant information is captured and uploaded into the Asset Management System.
3. Responsible for the accurate collection of data relating to HHSRS and the assessment/rating of stock company-wide.
4. Responsible for collecting property information in line with survey demands, including void properties in line with programme requirements and operating plans, ensuring the best use of resources to maximise productivity.
5. Property inspections, stock assessments and advising on further actions.
6. Input accurate data into the systems and upload evidence as required.
7. Day to day, localised problem solving that includes the consideration of a number of issues and requires the analysis of information or situations.
Candidate Requirements
1. Stock condition surveying experience, especially within Housing or similar environment.
2. HNC in Building Studies or Building Surveying or any recognised qualification related to the field.
3. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing with the ability to produce good quality written technical reports.
4. IT literate and able to use systems to input data and evidence of surveys.
5. HHSRS knowledge and application within the housing environment.
6. Able to drive and have access to a car.
Rates
* £28-£32
* 3 months initial contract
* mileage pay - TBC
