About the team We are a growing UX/UI Design team focused on envisioning and creating best-in-class experiences for our customers, partners and developers around the world. What you will be doing We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Director to lead our Design System and UX Operations [UX Ops] team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, design systems, and operational excellence. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the consistency, scalability, and efficiency of our UX practices across the organization. Additonally, you will Develop and execute the vision and strategy for the Design System and UX Ops team. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX designers and operations specialists. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align UX initiatives with business goals. Oversee the creation, maintenance, and evolution of the Worldpay Design System. Ensure the design system is scalable, accessible, and meets the needs of various product teams. Advocate for design system adoption and provide guidance on best practices. Implement and optimize UX tools, and workflows to enhance team efficiency and collaboration. Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the impact and effectiveness of UX initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in UX practices through feedback and data-driven insights. Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the UX team and across the organization. What you bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 8 years of experience in UX design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience managing design systems and UX operations. Strong understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
