Job summary This role will be is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical related maintenance and installation activities, including contract works is reviewed and completed to an appropriate standard throughout. Department responsible for the effective management and control of theservicing infrastructure, and the associated trade staff and maintenance assistants and apprentices. The role will also require the post holder to work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues as part of providing a specialist mechanical knowledge and review process or as part of the overall planning of activities undertaken and completed by directly employed labourand contactors. Main duties of the job You should be able to take responsibility and ownership for statutory inspections under your delegated area and keep records ensuring the trust complies with current legislation The role also requires participation in the out of hours on-call rota.
