We are looking for a ‘Senior QA Lead’ to join our amazing QA team at Moneybox on a 12 months FTC. As part of the Senior leadership team, you will oversee multiple high-calibre squads, manage QA Seniors, and embody continuous improvement within the QA function in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company. What You’ll Do As one of the three Senior QA Leads within the team, you’ll oversee QA across multiple cross-functional squads, reporting directly into the Head of QA. Line manage and coach multiple Mid, Senior and/or Lead QA team members, providing oversight, support, and career development. Own implementation and delivery of QA services for your squads incl. consulting and reviewing test plans for multiple projects, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive flexible approaches that balance risk, speed and quality. Collaborate on the overall QA strategy and quality outcomes across Moneybox. Drive initiatives within the QA function, leveraging your expert knowledge to deliver meaningful change aligned with industry trends. Actively participate in senior forums, liaising with senior stakeholders to escalate issues, report status updates and drive improvements forward. Promote learning and sharing across the QA function by leading key meetings and workshops that support continuous improvement. Attend key squad ceremonies, such as retrospectives, to identify trends and areas for improvement within the wider engineering team. Step in to execute hands-on QA activities where help is needed or to oversee QA efforts on large mission-critical projects. Serve as a role model for the QA and Engineering team by leading by example, demonstrating accountability, and paving the way to success. Ability to plan and execute meaningful change and continuous improvement across the QA function and beyond, collaborating and compromising with senior stakeholders to produce successful outcomes. Have a clear management style with the ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams that can adapt to changes in resource, business requirements and technology. Quickly react to change and turn around actions, understanding who should execute them (yourself, an individual or a team), to not only get the job done once, but to ensure it can be seamlessly completed again in the future. Experience & Skills 10 years QA experience reliably guiding testing efforts with expertise and care. 3 years of line management experience at varying levels. Proven experience in leading QA teams and mastering essential soft skills. Proven experience in defining and implementing QA strategic objectives. Proven experience working with senior leadership, building strong relationships to drive continuous improvement. Well versed in App, Web and API testing technologies and automation frameworks.
