Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our client's site at their manufacturing site near Wembley.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be a key team player within the Operations Team, responsible for manufacturing and logistics on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities as Supply Chain Coordinator:
1. Place orders with suppliers that are assigned to you.
2. Adhere to appropriate lead times to maintain the necessary stock availability.
3. Regularly review holding stock levels/parameters to fit with seasonal changes.
4. Monitor forecasts and raise concerns where they arise.
5. Maintain systems to reflect launches, promotions, delists, and amendments.
6. Minimise stockouts through planning and monitoring stock movements.
7. Understand site storage limitations.
8. Understand the relationship between product life, minimum order quantity, shelf-life, and lead time.
9. Investigate any discrepancies and escalate risks in a timely manner.
10. Support the logistics function with imports and border crossing administration.
11. Arrange for customs clearance.
12. Manage transfers from 3PL partners.

Skills required for Supply Chain Coordinator:
* Previous experience within a similar role, a minimum of 2 years experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Previous experience within an FMCG environment.
* Good working knowledge of SAP, MRP, and Excel.
