Exams Officer - Key Responsibilities:
As an Exams Officer, you will oversee all aspects of the school's exam administration, including:
4. Exam Coordination - Organising and managing all internal and external exams, including GCSEs and A-Levels.
5. Timetable Management - Creating and distributing accurate exam timetables while minimising disruption to learning.
6. Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring all exams adhere to JCQ and awarding body regulations.
7. Invigilation Management - Recruiting, training, and managing a team of exam invigilators.
8. Student Support - Ensuring students with access arrangements receive the appropriate provisions.
9. Data & Results Processing - Managing exam data, liaising with exam boards, and overseeing the secure distribution of results.
10. Liaison & Communication - Acting as the key point of contact for exam-related queries from students, staff, parents, and external bodies.
11. Resource Management - Ordering, securing, and distributing exam papers and materials in line with exam board guidelines.
Exams Officer - About You - you should:
12. Have previous experience as an Exams Officer in a London-based secondary school (preferred).
13. You should be highly organised, meticulous, and able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
14. Have a strong understanding of exam regulations and procedures.
15. Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
16. Be proficient in using exam management systems and data handling.
