Job Overview
As part of The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Walsall Healthcare Trust collaborative working strategy, an exciting opportunity has become available for you to join our expanding Operational Estates Team.
Our organisation is looking to recruit an experienced and professional higher level Electrical Engineer to be a part of our new community team delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across multiple healthcare premises.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be a motivated, forward-thinking, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering a first-class, efficient, and quality service.
He/she will demonstrate highly developed physical and technical skills and a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills particularly associated with building controls, and Electrical installation and maintenance. Successful applicants will be able to repair complex faults on a wide range of systems and facilitate such works having freedom to prioritise activity to maximise performance.
He/she will be a team player and will be capable of managing works acting as responsible person for the issue of Permit to Work (PTW) documentation, ensuring necessary procedural documentation is in place at all times. He/she will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota once training has been given.
