Hours: 32.5 hours, 39 weeks (Term time only plus one week)

The de Ferrers Academy is a part of Affinity Learning Partnership. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire, consisting of three Secondary Academies and four Primary Academies.

The Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with children and supporting their educational development. The ideal candidate will have a friendly yet professional approach, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and staff. A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and the well-being of all pupils is essential.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, with at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths. They should possess strong organisational skills, a keen willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience working with children or young people would be advantageous.
This role requires adaptability, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to professional development. As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in the classroom while developing the skills necessary to support students, including those with special educational needs.
