£140 - £235 Per day
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assess and track the progress of students, providing feedback to parents and caregivers
* Collaborate with SENCOs and other professionals to create individualised education plans
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment
* Attend meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with SEN best practises
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an SEN setting
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of different learning needs and strategies for SEN students
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements
* Strong classroom management skills
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
* Training in Makaton, TEACCH, or other SEN interventions
Working Conditions:
* Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments for meetings or events
* Classroom-based teaching with opportunities for outdoor learning and educational trips
* Collaborative work within a supportive team environment
