We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Renewals Manager to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving customer retention and revenue growth by leading the renewal process for a portfolio of our key accounts. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, ensuring they realize ongoing value from our products and services. The ideal candidate is a highly effective communicator with a proven track record of success in renewals, upselling, and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive renewal strategies for a portfolio of assigned accounts, ensuring timely and successful renewals.
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their business needs, identify potential challenges, and address any concerns related to their existing contracts.
* Confidently discuss commercials with customers, negotiate renewal terms, and effectively articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
* Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand customer relationships and drive revenue growth.
* Accurately forecast renewal rates and maintain a detailed pipeline of upcoming renewals.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Finance, to ensure a seamless and efficient renewal process.
* Effectively navigate and resolve challenging customer situations, including objections and potential churn risks.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Renewals Manager, Account Manager or in a similar customer-facing role, ideally within a SaaS environment.
* Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed renewal targets and drive revenue growth.
* Strong understanding of commercial negotiations and contract management principles.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
* Proven ability to have difficult conversations with customers while maintaining positive relationships.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools.
* A passion for customer success and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
