As a IPMI Service Delivery Manager, you will manage and oversee the end-to-end service delivery for our International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) products, to ensure that business and regulatory needs are being met. What does a day in the life of a IPMI Service Delivery Manager look like: Work closely with the Commercial team to support business development. Collaborate with Underwriting and Premium Accounting to administrate policy inception. Manage policy changes through the lifecycle of a policy. Manage policy renewals, cancellations, and any other customer product needs. Establishing and improving claims handling and resolution strategies. Manage and Monitor Claims team to ensure prompt, fair and accurate claims processing. Manage typical Claims functions included but not limited to claims creation, preauthorisation, administration, settlement, fraud, and payment to insureds and providers. Multi-channel Contact Centre to support customer’s needs. Working jointly with commercial team and producers to resolve consumer need. Lead, mentor, and manage a team with diverse functions to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency, Provide training and development opportunities to team members. Ensure appropriate staffing levels, effective performance management, and motivation of staff. Inspire and lead team to provide exceptional customer service with a tight control of expenses and loss ratio. What We`re Looking for: 5 to 10 years experience in a similar role in the insurance industry. Strong knowledge of insurance claims management. Proficiency in claims and policy management software and databases. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Assertiveness and ability to quickly adapt strategies to succeed in a fast-changing environment. Strong work ethic and the initiative and ability to work independently or in a team environment. Attention to detail and good listening skills. Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude.
