Planner/Programme Manager \nLocation: Northampton \nReporting To: Operations Director \nAbout the Role \nWe are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the development and coordination of delivery programmes across multiple business streams. This role is central to ensuring the efficient use of resources, materials, and recruitment planning, with a focus on aligning all projects into a single, streamlined programme. \nYou will produce detailed monthly reports for both operational and board-level audiences, supporting the successful delivery of projects nationwide.
\nKey Responsibilities \n·Manage and maintain Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project planning software \n·Develop, implement, and oversee a unified programme strategy \n·Integrate project plans from different departments into a cohesive programme \n·Create and monitor resource, material, and cost plans \n·Support teams in managing budgets, risks, scope, and change control \n·Set up and maintain effective programme organisation and reporting structures \n·Contribute to ongoing operational improvements, quality enhancement, and uphold Health & Safety standards \nIdeal Candidate Profile \n·Highly detail-oriented and methodical \n·Skilled in building complex project programmes using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project \n·Proficient in Windows operating systems \n·Strong communicator, both written and verbal \n·Able to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders \n·Excellent at planning, organising, and keeping to deadlines \n·A confident problem solver and sound decision-maker \n·A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset \n \nWhat You Can Expect \nYou'll be joining a rapidly growing business within the infrastructure sector.
