A new opportunity for a Technical Administrator role has arisen in Crest Nicholson Special Projects team. As Technical Administrator part of your responsibility will be to provide full document control support to the Technical team and ensure that all current drawings, specifications and all other associated contract related documents are maintained and issued in an efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and administer the document control system for all Crest Nicholson project sites. Responsible for the accessing, uploading, downloading and collating of documents and tender packages via Project Vault. Ensure that third party documents are issued to the internal team. Set up new projects on Project Vault. Liaise with system external team and resolving any system errors. Provide internal staff and consultants with access to Project Vault and the project sites as well as removal as and when requested. Update internal and external distribution lists on Project Vault in order for documents to be issued to the correct recipients. Create digital copies of design package information to facilitate consultant enquiries, tenders and information issue. Organise and manage documents and CDs received by external parties. Administer requests for information from consultants/ contractors/site managers on behalf of the technical manager. Print ordering for the Technical team and others upon request from your line manager. Use of web based data management portals for storing and retrieval of data and documents [e.g. Service Point; BIW; NHBC; Grapevine (Crest In-house)]. Essential Qualifications/Attributes Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel, AutoCAD (not essential), document control systems (4Projects, Project Vault), PDF, DWF file types. Plan and drawing scale awareness; awareness of industry consultant disciplines Multi-task and work unsupervised Meticulous approach to work Good time management and prioritisation Initiative Occasional deadlines may require overtime working to ensure departmental / company targets are achieved.
